AFI's 100 Years 100 Movies - America's Greatest Movies
Download In-Store POP Materials and Order Your Poster Now! Ten years ago, AFI invited leaders from across the film community to select the 100 greatest American movies of all time. It was an event designed to celebrate cinema's centennial and to catalyze a national conversation about the movies. And it worked. This year, AFI is revising that list to consider some of the best movies of the last decade. Citizen Kane, Casablanca and The Godfather will be vying with Titanic,Lord of the Rings and others for these for 100 coveted spots. See the new 100 greatest movies as they are revealed on the AFI telecast on June 20th on CBS. The American Film Institute is offering EMA retail members the official poster for this year's program at no cost. These classic films have become part of our culture and this program will remind consumers of many of their most beloved movies. The poster will feature all 100 winning films. This is a great opportunity to feature your catalogue titles and boost their sales and rentals. As a retail member, you can get one poster for each of your stores by completing the order form below and returning it to EMA by fax or mail or by completing the on-line order form here. In addition, EMA has created POP materials featuring this year's promotion that you can download from our website and print for use in your stores. The artwork features counter cards and shelf talkers that can help you highlight your catalogue section. This artwork can be viewed and downloaded here. The deadline for ordering posters is Friday, June 8th. Posters will arrive in stores between June 21-June 25.
