The Ratings Compliance Officer shall ensure adherence to policies regarding motion picture and video game ratings education, enforcement, and advertising.
Specifically, the Ratings Compliance Officer shall:
Be responsible for disseminating information about motion picture and video game ratings to the appropriate individuals in the company;
Be knowledgeable regarding compliance with the company's policies on ratings education and utilization;
Serve as a liaison with the Video Software Dealers Association on ratings-related issues; and
Keep up-to-date on motion picture and video game ratings and the company' ratings policies.
The Ratings Compliance Officer should have operational experience in motion picture and video game ratings education and the utilization of ratings in the retail environment.
